I got this old hutch early this year when we came home from California with all my Mother-In-Laws china. I really like the heaviness of it and love all the room it has. But you know me, I can never leave well enough alone. So I painted it black and now I really, really love it.

Janis, you have such an eye for what will look good. I'm sure if I painted something black it would just look black, not stunning! I love seeing all the things you're doing with your house & yard.
HEllo Sweet Janis!
It is amazing how things work...I JusT walked in the house for a minute and THOUGHT OF YOU! Thinking Janis has a grandbaby due soon...then I turned on my computer and there you were on my blog! Okay, now that is really special to me! AND I have ALMOST the same hutch as your Mothers' and I want to paint it BLACK! You must tell me how you did it...sanding etc. Anyhoo, I have a very dear friend that is dying of ovarian cancer and some other things on my heart at the time. I just came home from my friend Narvie's and will head out again in a minute. She is home.
Thanks for thinking of me. Please email me your email address if you want. Mine is on my profile.
Thinking of you my dear!
Hugs,
Maryjane
