WHO ARE ALL THES KIDS AND WHY DO THEY KEEP CALLING ME GRAMS?

Christmas here was the usual busy time. We have 14 grandkids now with 2 more on the way. The oldest is 12!

For some reason when I gathered them all into a circle to open presents, it hit me….

WOW!  THERE A LOT OF KIDS HERE!

Usually when we get together, they are all over the place and never in one place together.

They never were really still enough long enough to get a good picture. We are rather a busy wild bunch.  (Note the one standing on my table.)

I handed out the presents one at a time by age.

BET YOU DON’T HAVE ONE OF THESE IN YOUR BACK YARD

My Josh is bored. School is out until the 11th of January so his creative side is coming out.

This is still a work in progress but look at it so far.

This is the climbing tower we have.

It a big old cement thing with hand holds on it.

He put boards and sticks on the top to spread things out a little.

He’s hooked the hose with a sprinkler onto the tether ball pole and it sprinkles on to it all night.

He rolls the hose up and brings it into the house during the day so it can thaw.

It has caused all sorts of strand formations.

I think is is very beautiful and clever.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I am such a blog slacker lately but I have been very busy.

Here are a few pictures of my Christmas house. I really went simple this year.

My dear friend Mearritta gave me this  old window so I hung it up and decorated it.  If you look close you can see that I added some white vinyl birds on it.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

PS. Our family ended up with 5 stitches in a chin  of one and one splinted splinted finger on another yesterday. Today one went to the doctor with a high fever and a goopy eye so yes, everything is normal here.

CHURCH CHAIRS

See this add…

Here in Northern Utah we have not only Craigslist but KSL Classifieds as well. So lucky!  I have been wanting a couple of smallish red chairs for my living room.  I sold a couple of old chairs on KSL that I had that just didn’t go anymore soooo, with money burning a hole in my pocket I got to work looking.

I found this chair and really liked it but I wanted two so I went hunting.  You are not going to believe this but I found another one with an ottoman that was posted 21 days earlier. Just $10.00 each as well.

Can you believe it! Crazy and…. they were just 10 miles apart.  So I borrowed my daughters big Yukon and went and got them. Wahooo!

Here they are…

Now why “Church chairs” you may ask?  My kids say they remind them of the chairs in the foyers of our Chapels we have here in Utah and they remember having to sit on them with their arms folded if they were naughty in Church.

HA!  I don’t have time out chairs, I have CHURCH CHAIRS and I’m going to use them. Not for the grand kids, Oh no, but for their parents!
