My Bekah called on Monday night and reminded me that I hadn't done a spring door hanger yet and she needed one the next day for a party she was having. So....
This is what I came up with.
A big spring flower with eggs as petals that spell "Happy Easter"
I used fun spring paper and added a cute little chick in the middle.
Will you please adopt me? I'm housebroken (well, somewhat I tend to make a mess when being creative), all my kiddlings have flown the nest so I have no hugh responsibilities for them except an occasional meal now and then, I drive well (good for quick runs to the store when needed), and would relish in your awesomeness of creative juices. I do windows, toilets, quick and easy snacks (I mean make them along with eating them of course)and can disappear out of site when needed (maybe take a walk or a nap?). I just yearn to be you when I grow up (54 but who's counting??)and the best way would be for you to adopt me. Can you send me a detailed map to your cottage? jk...hope your day is as happy as you make me to read about it!
OH MY....I swear you never cease to amaze me with your beautiful creations! You've inspired me to try making one of my own. I'm making it for a friend of mine who is coming to visit me. I haven't seen her for 12 years. I tried so hard to do what you do...and I realized that there is a definite art form and talent required...that I just don't have! *sigh* But hopefully she'll still like it. I just won't let her ever see your stuff and she won't know how sad it really is!
Oh..my..goodness!!! Do you ever sleep Janis? Your ideas, and then final products are incredible. As you would say, you've "outdone" yourself again. : ) I also LOVED your Spring banner and St. Patty's celebration. Have a great weekend.
