WELL I DIDN’T QUITE MAKE IT

I headed out really early this morning to go to Canada to say good bye to my Dad and I had gone about a third of the way (250 miles) and my sister called to say that my dear daddy was gone.  Oh how I will miss him. He was a wonderful man.

I turned around and came back home since the funeral will not be for a week. Now I just need to get my husband back from Iraq. He just arrived back there Thursday and now he needs to turn around again.

So so sorry, Janis. I'm sorry you didn't make it up there in time. But he must have wanted you to not make the trip. Sometimes blessings come and you don't even know that they're blessings. Does that make sense? Let me know if I can help with anything. Mimi

Oh my goodness, your daddy looks like an angel in that photograph here. I can tell that he was a very dear man. Your family will be in my prayers, that their hearts will be comforted.

It doesn't matter how old our Daddy's are we miss them when they're gone at any age! Lots of prayers for you this week as you say your goodbyes and relocate your hubby. Take care, you've had a rough ride (literally) lately.
