SCORE!!!!! & A FIELD TRIP

Don't you just love FRIENDS!!!!!

Both old and new... they can lighten your spirit and make your day. I have had the bestest last two days ever.

On Thursday I went on a "field trip" to an old salvage yard in Salt Lake with my dear friend Sue F and a new friend "MIMI SUE" check out her blog because she has more pics of our adventure and a ton of cute stuff.

This place was awesome! Of course we have to take pictures.

So much stuff and such a small car. Good thing I didn't bring a truck or who knows what we might have brought home.

I have a fetish for old doorknobs and things.

But the score of the day was this!

An old ironing board cupboard.

I've been wanting one of these forever and since I am trying to clean up my sewing room, I have just the place for it. (Yipeee, Happy Dance!)

Then of course there are presents! When we go through our daily lives and see something cute and either make or buy it, we don't just do one for ourselves but have to do one for friends as well.

Both Sues gave me presents.

Mimi Sue made me the
cutest pincushion ever.

She even posted the instructions here
I love it! Thank you Mimi.

Then Sue F made me some way cute clips for my picture board. She even used some of her most precious buttons. Now that is true friendship! Thank you Sue.

Then yesterday, my dear friend Vickie and I went out for a birthday celebration. Our Birthdays are both in January but because of busy schedules couldn't get together until yesterday. We went out for lunch and went shopping for some supplies "Vinyl" in Salt Lake City, and then went to a movie.

This is what she got me.

I love, love, love it!
Thank you Vickie.

And this is what I made her.

I swear it's been like Christmas all over again.

FAMILY LOVE

I've been busy!! Here are a couple of orders that I just made.

I'm so addicted to making these.

She wanted polka dots and reds.

Here's LOVE in a frame.

She wants to hang it in her bedroom.

I made these for my friend Mearritta.
No frame, just the letters.
Isn't she clever.

She put sheet metal up in her kitchen above the cupboards and used cute magnets to hold up the pictures. I'm seriously going to have to copy this idea.

If you want to order something, just leave me a comment or email me and I'll get right on it.
The framed ones are $40 plus shipping and the letters are $25 plus shipping
Thank you, Janis

Are you sure I'm aloud to do this?

Okay then.

MICHELANGELO'S CEILING IT'S NOT!

But I love it!!!!

I've added some Valentine goodies.

Some lacy hearts.

Some curly ribbon

The snowflakes and stars are staying up as long as there is snow on the ground.

And then there are these fun things. I made them out of one inch wide strips of paper.

They are a variation of some Christmas ones I made.

NEED A GRANT? OR HOW ABOUT A HOME

Well, I have both!

These are for Emma

They got some awesome pictures taken at the Union Station in Ogden by her good friend Brittany
(She also took our family Pictures)

So I thought I would use those plus a few other cute pictures that I had.

I love making these because I can stare at their cute faces while I try and figure out how I want to embellish them.

And as for the HOME.... I made this for my dear friend Vickie for her Birthday.

Hummm..... What shall I do next?

WHAT A DAY!

I'm still recovering. The kids surprised me with a party a Red Robin's.

I came around the corner and there they were waiting for me. All 21 of them.

I had no clue. Emma and Neil and kids picked me up and said it was just us.

More presents! This is a corner clamp so I can make picture frames. (I used to use a ratchet tie down)

Hailey and Aubrey used their own money to but me some of my favorite treats.

Zoe gave me a picture of her and her new baby sister.

We really had a wonderful time.

And to top it all off, little Joshua Phillips who lives down the street and is in my Primary class brought me a birthday cupcake. This is becoming a sweet tradition. His little sister Naomi's birthday is the same day as mine so he and his Dad walked down to bring me this. Thanks Josh and Naomi.

Thank you everyone who left me such nice comments and who called me and came over. I love you all!!!
