Since it is REDNESDAY at It's a Very Cherry World I thought I would share some old and new REDS.(and blues and greens.)
28 years ago this happened…
See the RED eyes and patches. Then 4 years later, this happened to him…
Ahhh, lots of RED. This happened at the same time…
And in between, these two happened…
I couldn’t find pictures of them in their uniforms but this suits them better anyway and there is RED in this picture.
They were faithful SCOUTS…
See the “Boys Life” magazine. Josh’s shirt used to be RED. (Note the bottle between the cushions. The youngest “scout” must have been sleeping.)
Then… 16 years ago, this happened…
RED beads and patches.
Now they are all grown and gone with little “scouts” of their own and now it’s my turn.
Yup, you guessed it. I am the new WEBELOS leader in our ward and I will be wearing lots of RED…
Put it all together and you get this…
Not exactly cute. Lets fix it…
Ahhhh, much better. It’s been 13 years since I’ve had a Webelo around so now I get to start all over again.

The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are such great organizations, and I wonder how many kids join nowadays. It's such a great way to keep them busy and out of trouble, and they learn such valuable life lessons too. Sounds like you're about to have fun all over again!
